Adobe Sale on Lightroom 4

Adobe.com

This morning I woke up to receive a gift to give to you from Adobe software!  Adobe emailed me about a two-day sale this week offering very substantial savings to purchase either Lightroom 4.3 or the Photoshop Elements 11 bundle. Today’s photo of a couple having wedding engagement photos taken at the San Francisco City Hall rotunda was processed in Adobe Lightroom 4. If you want to learn to make photos like this and others on my website, it’s easy to do and Lightroom is the centerpiece of it all.

Normally Lightroom is a $149 piece of essential software for HDR photographers. Right now, today, you can get 30% off. Just click the banner above and enter the promo code LTRM30FEB at checkout.

The Elements 11 Photoshop Bundle 50% off Sale

Adobe.com
Beginning at midnight February 13th until midnight February 14th, the Adobe Elements 11 bundle is on sale for 50% off!  WOWZA, I don’t see this much of a discount from Adobe often. If you want it or know somebody who does, just click the banner above and be sure to put in the promo code VAL13… because this is a Valentines Day sale!

There are several articles on the blog here about how I use Lightroom 4 in my workflow.  I also wrote a recent article specifically about Photoshop Elements 11 and HDR photography.

Romance in the Rotunda

In my last post, I was at San Francisco City Hall exploring the beautiful and expansive rotunda.  Several other photographers were there too.  One of them was busy working and taking wedding engagement photos of the couple in my photo.  The City Hall Rotunda is certainly a lovely venue for such photography and I imagine it happens here quite often.

I happened on the couple more than once.  In this case, I was respectfully trying to keep out of the background while the photographer did her job.  While backed up against the far wall I noticed this lovely composition so snapped it myself and moved on when they had finished this series of shots.

Even though I am not for hire to do weddings, I am open to making a beautiful piece of art for any couple who is game for the way I work. Contact me now and tell me your ideas!
